There are so many ways to serve at Homewood! Whether you love being in the middle of the action, or have a heart to serve in a support role - we have a place for you. From office administration, video editing, maintenance, cooking, working with horses, sailing, and of course working with kids - there are many rolls to fill as part of our summer team at camp! As part of the Homewood crew, you will be presented with opportunities each day to grow in your faith, develop your strengths, and overcome your weaknesses.
This year our Summer Team begins with Staff Training on June 26, 2026 for Summer Team and LIT's. Start off your summer with our one week training camp, and then get set for an amazing summer adventure. Chances are you'll make friends for life! The summer camping season begins on July 5, 2026 and ends on September 1, 2026 with Camp Cleanup. We can't wait to see you here this summer!
Important Note: Please read our Summer Team application carefully when you apply! We've made some adjustments to our regular application this year. Some changes include the option to apply for both Spring Crew AND Summer Team at the same time! (Awesome, right?)

Staff Sailing Trip! Last year we enjoyed our 2nd annual end of summer sailing trip for our Summer Team! After a busy summer of ministry it's wonderful to be able to connect and spend quality time together as a community - and there's no better way than on a sail boat! This year's trip will be from September 2-6, 2026 (5 night/6 day trip). For more information, please feel free to reach out to our Sailing and Woodsman Operation Specialist, Brooke, at sailing@camphomewood.com.

Staff Training: Join us for eight action-packed days as we prepare you to care for Homewood campers. Learn how to do and teach activities (crafts, archery, canoeing, riflery, and more), lead devotions and firesides, and organize games and events. Familiarize yourself with Homewood's property and facilities. Learn about camp standards, policies, and procedures. Wash dishes, worship, pray, and get to know the other summer staff.
Staff Training will allow you to develop meaningful relationships and to gain a deeper understanding of your call to follow Jesus and to love others. Expressing Christ's unconditional love to campers and experiencing that same love in the Homewood community will be a life-changing experience. Be prepared for two months of intense ministry! This is an adventure you don't want to miss. Fill out your application today.
Note: All Summer Team members are required to attend Staff Training.
Exceptions will be made for school exams, graduation, etc. Please make your request early.
Students attending a post-secondary institution in September who serve for a minimum of seven weeks may qualify for a $1,500 Summer Staff Bursary. For more information or to apply, click Summer Staff Bursary.
