Sailing Camp

  • Co-Ed (Boys & Girls)
  • Ages 12 - 18 & Adult

Sailing Camps are geared towards the true adventurer! Learn to sail as you explore BC’s world famous Discovery Islands and Desolation Sound aboard one of our four 27’ Catalina sailboats. Day One includes instructions on land and on the water. On Day Two, cast off the lines and embark on a week-long odyssey, sailing to a new location each day. Explore remote coves and intriguing shore lines or hike to secluded lakes. Camp ashore in wilderness locations each night and weigh anchor every morning to discover waterfalls, whales, porpoises, spectacular islets, and more. Your adventure will include learning basic navigation and sailing skills. You’ll relax, build relationships, and participate in discussions about Jesus. Each sailing camp is limited to 20 campers. • It is recommended that participants be comfortable in and around water.
  • Training sessions will require short periods of upper body exertion, and a moderate level of arm strength. Participants will have the opportunity to experience sun, wind, spray, rain, and temperatures may be cooler than on land.
