**Closing Program for most sessions of Harbour and Ranch will begin at 1:00 pm on the Friday that camp ends. Parents, grandparents, and guardians are encouraged to join. Jump on the 11:15 am ferry from Campbell River as a foot passenger and we will pick you up at the Quathiaski Cove terminal, bus you to camp, and treat you to a FREE LUNCH! We will provide bus service for you, your camper, and any other campers who have requested drop off back to the 3:00 pm ferry to Campbell River.

NOTE: There is not a Closing Program for Woodsman or Sailing Camps.

If you are not able to pick up your camper you must provide us in writing the name, relation and contact information of the individual who you are authorizing to pick up your child. The person picking up your camper will be asked to show us photo ID.

We understand that sometimes circumstances change. Camp fees are refundable only if notification is received 14 days prior to the first day of camp. Please note that your $100 registration fee (deposit) is NOT refundable, regardless of when you notify us.

REVISION: Due to COVID-19 we have revised our Refund Policy:

• If we are unable to run camp, we will issue a FULL REFUND to all campers (including the $100 non-refundable registration fee)
• If you decide not to come or send your child to camp, a refund can be issued (minus the $100 non-refundable deposit) as long as you email us 14 days before the first day of your camp session to cancel.

• A $100 non-refundable registration fee (deposit) is required to book each session. For Family Camps, the non-refundable registration fee is $100 per person.
• Outstanding balances are due 14 days prior to the first day of camp.
• Camp fees (less $100 deposit) are refundable ONLY if notification is received 14 days prior to the first day of camp.

Camp Homewood is now charging a $30 fee for all gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, and vegetarian special diet requests. Please be aware that we cannot make custom meals to accommodate food preferences (examples: keto diet, no red meat, no sugar, etc.), other special diets, or unique allergy requirements other than shellfish and nuts (Note: our kitchen is 'nut-managed'. We cannot guarantee a 100% nut-free environment). Celiacs and individuals with serious allergies may make arrangements to bring their own prepared food to eat during their stay at our main site. A mini fridge and microwave will be provided.

Special diet request must be made online at least 14 days prior to check-in for camp. Special diet requests cannot be made upon arrival.

Sailing and Woodsman Camps cannot accommodate special diet requests of any type. Please register children with special dietary needs at Harbour or Ranch Camp.

No. Cell phones, tablets, ipads, laptops, and other electronics are not permitted. Any of these items brought to camp will be collected and stored in the main office until the end of camp. For more details, see the Cell phone Policy.

We recommend arriving at the ferry terminal at least one hour before the intended sailing. Summer is a busy time for the ferries and often there is a sailing wait. You can go to Campbell River Ferry Cam to view the terminal traffic.

Yes. Camp Homewood is a registered charity and will issue tax receipts at the beginning of the following calendar year for donations of $20.00 or more. We will require an up-to-date mailing address on file.

Donations made using CanadaHelps (our online donation form) will be issued directly from CanadaHelps and can be printed by the donor.
