Camp Homewood offers English and Western riding lessons in a safe and fun environment. Learn to ride (walk and trot) in our indoor arena using our seasoned horses. We have a CHA certified instructor who has a passion for teaching others about these amazing animals.
Haven't ridden a horse before but always wanted to? Have a friend who would like to try?
No experience is required! Classes start with the basics and progress from there.

THINGS TO KNOW
Pick up and Drop Off
Pick up and drop off will be at our Indoor Arena. Once you pass the duck pond, turn right.
Note: Children are not to be left unattended at the arena prior to the beginning of the class.
Covid-19: Children and parents will be required to mask, and before each lesson parents will need to fill out our Covid screening questionnaire for their child.
What to Bring
Children must wear long pants, closed-toed shoes (eg. boots or runners), & gloves. In cooler weather, a warm jacket and mittens are required.
Covid-19: Children are required to bring a mask to their lessons.
What We Provide
Our lessons are geared towards beginners. Learn to walk & trot in our indoor arena, play games and enjoy our many outdoor trails! Wonderful, child-friendly horses and proper riding helmets are provided.
Note: All riders must wear helmets in order to participate.
Covid-19: Helmets and high touch surfaces will be sanitized between each lesson.
